The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Senior BI Data Warehouse Developer to join our System Office’s Business Intelligence department. We’re looking for a developer who is also a skilled communicator. Duties Include:

The Senior BI Data Warehouse Developer will deploy, populate and manage enterprise data warehouses and data marts. You will design reports and dashboards while working with end-users. You will provide Cognos and Data Warehouse training on an individual and a group level to end-users. The person in this position works independently and functions as an effective team member in a variety of projects related to the Data Warehouse creation, maintenance, and reporting.

• Design, implement, and maintain dashboards to support system-wide strategic initiatives.
• Perform complex data analysis.
• Assist in defining application development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to business requirements.
• Conceptualize and develop new reports.
• Create curriculum and lead training sessions on Business Intelligence solutions.
• Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
• Create and maintain video library of training topics in D2L.
• Present and communicate complex data and system information to various groups and individuals in writing and verbally.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field from an accredited college or university. An equivalent combination of education and experience, in addition to the experience required below, may be substituted for the degree.
• Three years of experience in a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse environment as a reporting system architect and developer, including experience with:
  • Cognos Report Studio and Framework Manager.
  • Developing reports using Oracle PL/SQL; i.e. writing PL/SQL stored procedures and queries for data analysis.
  • Using an ETL tool (Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica).
