Department/Division Purpose (brief description of main function):
Children First supports students and community members, in all eleven counties in our SDA, in accessing quality child care and assists providers in increasing the quality of care they provide through education and coaching.

Job Summary Statement (brief summary of overall responsibility of position):
The function of the UPK Implementation Specialist will be to support the SE LCO (Children First Director) in overseeing the implementation of the Universal Preschool Program throughout southeastern Colorado. The successful candidate will support the regional coordinator with the integration of Universal Preschool into area providers in partnership with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC). This includes management of the regional database (BridgeCare) UPK portal (provider side specifically), supporting programs with reporting, meeting state requirements, meeting quality standards, etc.
