The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Rural College Consortium (RCC) Scheduler to join our Colorado Online Student Affairs team. In this role you’ll act as the primary point of contact for the Rural College Consortium (a group of seven rural CCCS colleges) for issues related to schedule policies, procedures, and guidelines. This is a term-limited role and is funded through June 30, 2026. This position may become permanent if additional funding is secured.

Duties Include:

The RCC Scheduler will ensure the RCC and Colorado Online courses are accurately listed in Ellucian Banner and works closely with the college schedulers to ensure compliance with RCC, CCCS, and individual college registration practices and procedures. In addition, you will answer questions from Registrars, college schedulers, Colorado Online Student Success Liaisons, faculty, instructors, administrators, and other stakeholders and provides expert advice on the management of RCC and Colorado Online course sections and related policies.

  • In collaboration with the RCC Project Manager, oversees, ensures for accuracy, and maintains RCC course offerings in Banner databases at rural partner colleges. This includes the support of building new courses and adding and deleting courses as needed across the Rural College Consortium.
  • In collaboration with the Colorado Online Dean of Student Affairs, manages the Colorado Online and RCC section distribution process. Coordinates with the RCC college schedulers to ensure appropriate faculty/instructor assignments and serves as the primary point of contact for issues related to the building of RCC and online course sections in Banner.
  • Works with partner college Student Services personnel answering questions regarding Banner issues, i.e., enrollment status, providing accurate and timely information so students are given best possible support.
  • Provides expert guidance and as-needed back-up support for rural college schedulers for other types of courses to ensure timeliness, continuity, and accuracy all rural class schedules.
  • In collaboration with the Colorado Online Dean of Student Affairs, assists with the Colorado Online enrollment and section distribution process in support of the rural colleges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Experience in higher education or distance education that includes working with enrollment and/or student services.
  • Experience with learning management and student information systems.
