The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Program Assistant to join our Career & Technical Education (CTE) team at System Office. In this role you will provide administrative support in the Engineering, Technology & Media Arts (ETMA) program. You will focus on program management, technical support, and student conference organization with a focus on conference logistics and accounting processes. Examples of Duties

  • Event planning, project coordination, and administrative support for all Technology Student Association (TSA) conferences, including state and national leadership conferences. Includes support and maintenance of the event management system. Provides administrative support for the annual Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE) State Leadership Conference.
  • Assists the CTE ETMA Program Director; Program Director for ACE; and Colorado TSA State Advisor by maintaining websites, coordinating meeting set-up, making travel reservations, and building reports utilizing common software such as the Microsoft Office Suite and similar applications in Google Workspace. Updates System CTE records and databases.
  • Reconciles student dollar accounts in QuickBooks, cuts checks, receives payments, makes deposits and communicates with local chapters regarding invoices and payments. Makes purchases using purchasing card and state association credit cards as appropriate, following all CCCS, state, and federal regulations.
  • Reconciles monthly financial account statements with copies of invoices, statements, travel expenditure reports, and procurement card receipts (for self, Program Director, and State Career & Technical Student Organizations Advisors).

Required Qualifications

  • Two years of office support experience. Appropriate education will substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and/or similar applications.
