The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Marketing Manager to assist our Workforce Development team with their marketing strategies. We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional who wants to use their skills and experience to reach underserved students and encourage them to enroll in our workforce development pathways programs. Note: This position is term-limited and is funded through 12/31/2026.

In this role, you’ll lead the development, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of strategic marketing plans to increase enrollment in new programs created by multiple legislative, grant, and stimulus dollar investments in workforce development initiatives. You will be responsible for successfully developing and mapping out marketing processes, such as the designing, writing, and overseeing of production of promotional materials, including marketing toolkits for CCCS partner colleges, flyers, and presentations, and managing the marketing budgets for workforce training programs and pathways.

Duties Include:

  • Drive the evaluation of marketing and campaign projects and develop project implementation plans including defining the scope, stakeholders, timeline, and deliverables in collaboration with the Chief Communications Officer.
  • Provide project leadership and day-to-day administration focusing on marketing of workforce development pathways work alongside key stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and create designs.
  • Develop external content as needed for workforce development campaigns, including website content, fact sheets, flyers, digital badges, and promotional materials including social media posts. Create marketing toolkits that are shared with CCCS colleges and partners to ensure consistency in marketing efforts for various campaigns.
  • Prepare mockups and test graphics and collateral across various media to ensure document accessibility compliance.
  • Identify students that have completed workforce development programs and connect them with the CCCS Communications team to develop success stories for reporting and marketing purposes.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or another relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Two years’ direct experience in marketing and managing projects.
  • Experience managing paid digital marketing strategies for an organization, preferably in higher education.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other software for graphic design.
  • Experience with digital accessibility and best practices.
