Position Summary: To be successful as a grill cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes. Ultimately, a top-performing grill cook will create and propound innovative dishes wherever they land.

Essential Responsibilities

Follow recipes and /or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking and tasting grill items. This includes operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use. Ensure temperature controls at grill. Prepare food items for customers that may have special diets. Train and supervises 2 - 4 student employees.

Clean and sanitize grill workstation and equipment as well as maintain all equipment.

Close kitchen at end of day. Ensures all kitchen equipment has been properly shut down.
