We are hiring a Director of Major Gifts and Donor Engagement to join the Colorado Community College System Foundation. You’ll conduct one-on-one visits with donors for the purpose of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. CCCS offers generous time off, excellent benefits, and flexible work environments. If you’re looking for an exciting job opportunity where you can use your fundraising skills to further Colorado students’ higher education goals, this position may be for you!

  • Working closely with constituents to advance donor relationships, driving new/renewed giving, coordinating gift arrangements and documentation, and overseeing stewardship of assigned donors.
  • Carrying a portfolio of viable prospects. To do this, you’ll identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects via one-on-one meetings and other interactions to secure support for the Colorado Community College System.
  • Supporting CCCS’s programmatic priorities by soliciting major gifts, either via one-on-one contacts, in concert with a key volunteer, or with involvement of CCCS’s leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management, marketing, social sciences or related field.
  • Three years of professional level fundraising experience in a higher education institution or non-profit setting or equivalent.
