Position title
Colorado Skills Institute Program Director
Description

Description

The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Program Director to join our System Office’s Workforce Development team to lead the Colorado Skills Institute (CSI). The primary goal of the CSI is to provide a consistent and quality approach to non-credit and workforce development that allows CCCS to reach the scale necessary to generate revenue and serve Colorado and beyond. CCCS provides generous leave, excellent benefits, and flexible work schedules, including hybrid-remote work within the state of Colorado.

One way CCCS is reimagining workforce training is through the Colorado Skills Institute (CSI), in which we will create a credential marketplace that will house online courses that are industry-recognized, and include noncredit, short-term, competency-based options. As part of the CSI, CCCS will develop and offer industry-recognized training pathways and will position itself as the partner of choice for statewide employers for noncredit and customized training options.

This is a term-limited role and is funded through June 30, 2026.

  • Develop budget and financial projections to ensure CSI is generating revenue and self-sustaining in three years.
  • This role supervises two full-time employees.
