The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring two Client Support Specialists to join our Help Desk team at the System Office IT department. In this role you’ll be responsible for supporting the administrative IT operations at CCCS with daily support, training, and troubleshooting. You will assist the technical support staff systemwide with Banner and its supporting products, single sign-on issues, password resets, unified communications issues, 24/7 Student/Faculty issues, student email, evisions products, and Automic support. You will also be one of the supporting administrators of the system’s Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) product.

Note: We are looking to fill two Client Support Specialist positions with this one recruitment.

Duties Include:

  • Provide second- and/or third-level technical support for a variety of hardware and software inquiries/problems including operating systems, Banner and its supporting products, Portal, workflow, Outlook, single sign-on, etc.
  • Identify, track, redirect, and escalate issues to the Business Technology, Infrastructure, and/or Business Intelligence teams when needed. Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, and following issues throughout the life cycle with follow-up as needed.
  • Work with the customer to analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and document new one-steps, workflows, knowledge articles, and additions to the service catalog, and help onboard new schools within the ITSM solution.
  • Research and discover solutions to problems not seen before by utilizing a variety of methods, including but not limited to experience, web searches, and forums.
  • Provide as appropriate, application and technical support measures and procedures to ensure the security, integrity, availability, and privacy of CCCS’s administrative IT support resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Experience providing technical support to users.
