The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Consortia Operations Specialist to join our System Office’s Academic Affairs team. Note: This position is term-limited for two years from the employee’s start date.

Examples of Duties

In this role, you’ll provide administrative support for the functions and processes related to Program Approvals, Course Approvals, Active Course Management, the Common Course Numbering System, and systemwide standardization projects. You will primarily be responsible for data entry and maintenance of databases in Banner, CourseLeaf, and the CTE Gateway.

  • Responsible for the technical data entry processes of course and program management. This includes building Banner codes for new courses and programs, updating existing courses and programs as needed each semester, and processing the closure of courses and programs to be removed. Provides data entry support for the course and program needs of all 13 CCCS colleges and Colorado Online @, ensuring compliance with CCCS and individual college registration practices.
  • Update and maintain the databases of courses and programs within Banner and CourseLeaf.
  • Update and maintain database of 13 college academic calendars, focusing on registration dates, to ensure that courses and programs are built in Banner in a timely manner at all 13 colleges.
  • Coordinate with college staff as needed to perform periodic quality assurance checks on course information in Banner at 13 partner colleges.
  • Work with the CTE Gateway team to ensure successful CTE Course Transfer Processing.
  • Assist with updating Course and Program Approval process training documents.
  • Assist with developing process guides and informational updates on Consortia project-related database updates and provide training as needed.
  • Provides technical support for the implementation of systemwide, consortia, and alignment projects including Colorado Online @, Rural College Consortium, Colorado Skills Institute, CCNS CourseLeaf Implementation, systemwide standardization projects, and more.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Two years of experience working with course catalog and curriculum data within the Ellucian Banner student information system to include working with enrollment, scheduling, and/or student services.

Work Location/Travel Expectations:

  • This position is located at 9101 E Lowry Blvd, Denver, CO 80230.
  • Occasional travel within the state as needed.
  • Alternative work arrangements, including flexible schedules and remote work may be available. All work must be completed in the state of Colorado.
