Department/Division Purpose (brief description of main function):

Provide relevant and rigorous instruction to students in our CIS and HIT programs in order to provide them with the skills and knowledge to become productive employees or to successfully transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education.

Job Summary Statement (brief summary of overall responsibility of position):

This position specifically exists to manage and lead Apprenticeship Programming at PCC, which may include diverse programs in areas such as health, information technology and other career and technical fields. This position will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability and growth of the programs. This position will provide support to current and potential apprentices, faculty, employers and internal and external stakeholders.  This position will have significant responsibility to act as a liaison with multiple partners, both internal and external, and lead enrollment management efforts and reporting requirements for PCC apprenticeship programs. Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period.  Employment for this position beyond the current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding.
Necessary Special Requirements:
The position requires a flexible work schedule to provide student advising and to attend college events after regular business hours and weekends. Candidates for this position must be willing to meet these required hours in order to be considered for the position.
