The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Career & Technical Act (CTA) Manager to join our System Office Finance team. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of fiscal compliance with the Career & Technical Act. You’ll provide leadership, expertise, development, management, and coordination of CTA funding, which promotes excellence in career and technical preparation programs in secondary schools in Colorado. Examples of Duties
- Provide leadership in planning, development and implementation of in-service workshops and seminars for the requirements of CTA at the secondary level.
- Maintain all master files for CTA and CTA web pages on CCCS website, including continuous development, troubleshooting, and testing of the CTA reporting website.
- Manage CTA funding formula, determine allocations, notify recipients, and prepare award notices.
- Prepare quarterly CTA payments for disbursement.
- Prepare the annual legislative CTA report and submit for review to CTE program personnel.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with teachers and administrators at secondary schools.
- Provide trainings annually to train on evaluation, review, and new information and policies that support the annual CTA reporting process.
- Key contact for CTE Gateway database maintenance and customer service for CTA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- An additional two years of experience in Career and Technical Education and/or grant management.
